Customer Service Associate (FT)  

Dvorson's Food Service Equipment / Marin Restaurant Supply is looking for a motivated customer service associate to join our fun and friendly team. If you are bright, willing to learn, good with people and interested in working in a casual yet sometimes fast-paced internet/phone sales office we'd like to hear from you. Website content editing skills are a plus, but not required. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply.

We are a well established restaurant and gourmet kitchen equipment company selling to commercial and residential customers worldwide. Along with a beautiful location in Sausalito, California and a casual, friendly work environment, we offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, a retirement plan with company matching funds and paid holiday, vacation and sick time off.

Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries about a wide range of commercial cooking and food service equipment products. Provide product information and prepare equipment quotes.

Effectively manage the order fulfillment process including creating customer invoices, processing credit card payments, completing vendor purchase orders and coordinating shipments.

Provide excellent customer service to clients to resolve any issues that may arise after order fulfillment.

Work closely and collaboratively with other associates to respond to customers' needs, maximize efficiency of office operations and work towards growth of the company.

Depending on skill set, update product web pages using Dreamweaver, Adobe Creative Suite, and I.D.E. software.

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Accurate, detail-oriented and organized. Able to prioritize, perform multiple tasks and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to learn and ask questions in order to gain knowledge about a wide range of products.

Excellent communication skills that will enable you to effectively decipher and respond to customers' inquiries and needs.

Ability to work cooperatively with product manufacturers and vendors to resolve any issues and assure prompt and satisfactory order fulfillment.

Strong computer, data entry and internet research skills.

Bachelor's Degree preferred but will consider qualified candidates without.

Administrative Assistant (FT or PT)

Basic Duties
- Answer and route phone calls in a friendly and professional manner. Collect, open and sort mail.
- Enter vendor invoices into office accounting system, manage and resolve accounts payable issues and assist with other accounting functions.
- Provide support to sales staff in order fulfillment process.
- Prepare shipping documents, schedule and track shipments.
- Manage and file vendor product literature/price lists. File customer and vendor invoices, and organize file room and office space.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
- Ability to operate multi-line phone system, and excellent phone and customer service skills.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
