The Chefmate¨ slicer series range from a 9" belt driven unit up to a 12" gear driven unit. These units are economical in price and compact in design.
When deciding which model to purchase, a key factor is the application that it will be used for. See the comparison chart. This will help ensure that you get the best slicer to meet your food preparation needs.
When choosing a slicer, ask yourself the following questions:

1. What is the size of the largest product being sliced and will it fit on the slicer?
2. How many hours per day will you be using the slicer?
3. What products might you want to slice in the future, even though you are not slicing that product today? Consider that your menu may change and you may add new items.
4. What is the thickest slice you will need?

The slicer models listed below are gear driven compact slicers. The food contact areas (chute, table, knife, knife cover, deflector, motor cover and product receiving tray) are constructed of stainless steel. A permanently attached knife ring guard protects the non-slicing portion of the blade and a knife cover interlock prevents the slicer from operating when the knife cover is removed for cleaning.
